owners statement:
Terry,
THIS CAR WAS THE CAR GENERAL MOTORS USED IN THE RE-LAUNCH OF THE 2001 Z06. this was on the cover of the big expensive brochure the factory issued to "serious" buyers. I have included one of these brochures for you. THIS CAR WAS EVALUATED AND REVIEWED BY THE GENERAL MOTORS BRASS AND HISTORIANS TO BE THE MAIN FEATURE IN THE AMAZING BROCHURE. THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER LET A CAR THAT HAD ANY EXCUSES BE ON THE FACE OF THE BIGGEST LAUNCH IN 30 YEARS.
I AM INCLUDING A PLACARD FROM THE NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM. THIS CAR WAS FEATURED IN THE 12 MONTH LONG Z06 CELEBRATION NEXT TO SOME OF THE MOST FAMOUS Z06 RACERS OF ALL TIME.
We have all parts ever removed from this car. the original 2 headlights that burnt out. Original spare lock boot. the original temp gauge that was replaced under warranty,
I have a chronological 25 year history of the efforts to rebuild the double master cylinder.
I have photos of the the car from every 3 year period to 1963.
I have photos of Larry Shinodo as well s the glove box inside was signed by Larry years ago.

I have a gas log of every tank put in the car for 40 years and the price of gas that particular day.
I have a receipt for every single thing that was ever done to this car. I mean every time it paid to park. this is no bullshit. go through it and you will be blow away.
Original license plates
Cover car in Vette magazine included
Every Original title for 45 years. (he moved to 3 states over the years)
Every original registration for 45 years.
Original receipt for the stripes, chromes wheels and original shaved emblems (now on).
Original Keys owners warranty card, Patch, Pin.
Judging paper work for all meets ever.
Terry, Don't sell this car to one of those seven. Educate yourself on this car. groom it a little and sell the thing for $600,000.00 it could be done and you could do it. I never in a million years thought I would ever even consider selling this car.
I spent 5 years looking for it.
I paid Grenning to look at 20 other cars as well as the west cost guys.
I am sick. But I am also not stupid. I understand that half the fun is in the hunt and I can hunt again.
M.H.
