 | 1103C.. 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe"barn found mystery car", 327-340 hp, 4 speed, VIN #816, body #334. Low mile original and unrestored. More information wanted. That was built on October 1st or 2nd with the following famous Z06 race cars VIN #684, 701, 787, 809, 813, 875, and 895. It is believed that our car #816 is only one body number higher than the Bondurant Z06 #813 that is now owned by Vic Eldebrock and there is special air ducting from the front core support to the firewall. Our car #816 was sold new by Ed Rinke Chevrolet of Centerline, Michigan dealer 384/zone 44 which is about one mile from the GM Tech Center. Does anyone remember this car? Not far away from new paint and has a new interior already installed. Inspection reveals that the body has been off the frame not too long ago. Optioned with T-10 transmission, posi, AM/FM radio, seat belts, hubcaps, and white stripe radials. Most all factory correct type components. This is a project car that needs paint and reassembled. Ermine White paint with Blue stinger and Bright Blue interior. Paint is very nice and usable as is but the interior needs carpet, seat covers, and door panel replacement. Project car missing motor, trans, and front nose section from a minor accident in the mid 1970's where as the nose was backed into while at a Chevy dealer for service. The VIN is 194678S412562. Ohio will not title this car so please check with your state prior to buying this car. We have full title search and owner history with no branded titles back to the mid 1970's in Idaho, a 1984 clean Washington title, and an open clean May 2010 Arizona title.
